Sad but true. Some people only use us for their own benefit and then throw us away as if we were simply objects. I`ve been through that kind of experiences more than once.

You`re right. it took me a while to recover each time. The hardest one was when I discovered my wife was cheating on me. Other ones were with girlfriends, but when you discover the person you married, by laws and the church, is betraying you, that is very, very hard.
Now I`m divorced and single, I don`t get anxious to have another mate, I feel free and in peace with myself.
Scars heal, never doubt it, maybe you will find someone new or maybe not, but enjoy your life always and feel good with yourself.

I only had one who truly betrayed me, but she kept her hold while she betrayed me many times, in small ways and large. It was only once I was free that I realized the depth of the damage.

Images like this help me express what I felt then, and the memory I still carry within.
